Goodwill is opening their brand new South Lake Union store this Thursday with a special Grand Opening celebration. The event will feature door prizes, giveaways, music, free Top Pot donuts for the first 250 guests, and free eco-friendly tote bags for the first 200 guests. Don't forget to register for a chance to win a $500 Whole Foods Gift card. The new store is unlike any Goodwill store you've ever experienced and was specifically designed to compliment South Lake Union customers with it's fashion forward merchandise mix. At 4,800 sq. feet the store feels more like a boutique than the rest of the Goodwill stores but will still carry all the merchandise you've come to expect including apparel and accessories for men, women and kids, plus housewares, office decor and jewelry. This is Goodwill's 22nd location in the Puget Sound and all purchases go to support Goodwill's free job training and education programs that help better the lives of people in the community.
